My humble, perhaps crazy, attempt here was to present the City on a rainy night using only visuals and natural sound -- no spoken words from narration or interviews.
Unfortunately, some of the audio definition (and all of the stereo separation) was lost during compression. This is also a great example of how the video compression really sucks with low light clips.
Steve and I have thrown around the idea of increasing the bitrate for video clips. (Video is now encoded at 350kbps, perhaps we could up it to 400kbps.) This would be at the dangerous expense of allowing people with low-end Internet connections to view clips in realtime. It's a tough balance.
