VidSF Weekly Show

Isa and Stephen joke about City news in this brave debut. This is a first try, please tell us how to make it better.

We're thinking of doing this live next time to give it more energy, say at a bar or cafe. (Probably bar so there's booze involved.)

The teleprompter is nice to have in the studio, but maybe we can do well enough with old fashioned cue cards.

Having a live studio audience to laugh and react at jokes will make this a lot better.

  1. You all did such an amazing job, especially with such little prep time. I'm again humbled by the talented people involved in this project and hope you remember me when you're looking for a photographer for your Vanity Fair spread ; ).

  2. hey man, why you denyin' me & stephen the writing credit? hater.

  3. Ms. Isahop, added the writing credits per your input.

On another note, I did actually learn things about our fair City watching this. This seems to be an effective medium.

  4. Morse, look at the camera more and explain the wig.
    this is awesome though.

  5. Whew, thanks, Amanda, I was afraid to mention the wig.
But if that's an effort to emulate a "traditional" television anchorman helmet-o-hair, nice job. Maybe check w/ Gavin's Gel Czar for grooming tips.
As someone who once earned her living doing that sort of work SERIOUSLY, I think you've driven a few nails into the coffin holding the 6 o'clock news.
    I loved it.
Oh, and I did a show with a live audience for a while. Details and hassles you wouldn't believe. Forget the live laughs and save yourselves a loooooot of trouble. Believe me, people don't need a laugh track to know where your funny is.

  6. Wow this is really good. Love the dead-pan style. Keep it up.
