Liability Coverage for Local Independent Video Journalists
The Media Blogger Association offers access to Media Liability Insurance. Membership to the MBA starts at $25/year, but insurance coverage is expensive and starts at $450/year.
The Citizen Media Law Project concludes that some bloggers may already have liability coverage through their homeowner's or renter's insurance. Important to note that most of these policies do not cover "business pursuits". Read more here.
